Introduction
Welcome to America Attempts Alternate Energy. This is a monthly column published in the Geneva, NY Finger Lakes Times on the last Sunday of each month. It is now in its third year. The column discusses the various aspects - politics, economics, and technology - as they relate to all energy uses, and then compares these to how alternate energy address them. It compares things such as how waste, conservation, and political policies affect energy use, and how these factors are just as important to the energy situation as the marvels of technology. Added to that we have an administration that downplays, ridicules, and thwarts the technology and the efforts of those who choose to conserve and protect the environment. The articles also features innovations and improvements in energy systems. The article is well received locally and I would like to take it to the next level. Please endeavor to read these articles and I trust that your readers will enjoy it as much as ours. |

Energy, Global Warming, and Truth
When it comes to energy and global warming, the decisions we make as nations and as individuals are as important as always to our present, and our future. But in this age of Trump, there are so many voices making so many contradictory claims that one might be tempted to believe that many, or all are legitimate, or true. This is not the case. There is only one set of facts dictating the best way to move forward in a way that benefits not only mankind, but every living thing on this planet, and the planet itself. Any suggestions that go counter to that are not competing ideas, they are simply wrong - sometimes misguided, often criminal - even when they come from people in positions of authority in government or business. These essays, and this website exist to push back against these ignorant and criminal voices with scientific fact. You’ll find no opinion here, only fact, as established by the majority, if not the entire world scientific community. |
